#1: List 20 random things about yourself.
1) Despite what other people think they know, Mumford & Sons is actually my favourite musical group. I like them 'cause they're different and if you actually pay attention to their lyrics, they are extremely profound.
2) I don't like pizza. I know, kill me. *rolls eyes*
3) Even though it's ended now, House will always be my all-time favourite TV show.
4) Growing up scares me so much, but not growing up scares me more.
5) I hate water. I only drink it because I have to.
6) Until I was in grade 4, I never wore jeans. I only wore tights to school. Then when my aunt got me my first pair of jeans, I didn't take them off for a week.
7) I don't crush on guys very easily. Before this summer, the last time I crushed on a guy was in the middle of grade 12. That's a 1 1/2 year difference between the two.
8) When I'm so sick that I can't leave my house, I always watch either the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy or all the Anne of Green Gables movies.
9) Even though I'm a Christian, I don't like Christian music. I find it all sounds the same and it's very cliché. The only Christian artists that I genuinely like are Needtobreathe, Skillet, Relient K, and Lecrae.
10) I wish I grew up in a small town so that I could relate to a majority of the country music out there.
11) My favourite subjects in high school were biology and psychology. I'm fascinated by anything that has to do with the human body. It's so complex and wonderful. There's no possible way that we could understand everything about it. In high school, I realized that that's why I believe in God... there's no freakin' way that evolution could create something so amazingly complex!
12) Capernwray Quebec was the first and only bible school I ever considered going to.
13) I love doing puzzles. I really suck at them, but it's an amazing stress-reliever for me.
14) I used to write alot, but I've had writer's block for the last year and a half.
15) I've been a Christian for 15 years of my life now and I still have not read through the entire bible... even after bible school. I should really get to doing that.
16) I've never had a job that wasn't in a kitchen.
17) I collect stuffed penguins. I have 7 of them. 2 big (Spencer and Zipporah), 4 little (Shadrach, Meshach, Abednego, and Luke), and 1 hand-made (Pedro). I named Spencer after Spencer Reid from the TV Show Criminal Minds, Pedro after the character in Napoleon Dynamite, and Luke after the guy who caused me to fall in love with my favourite movie. I take Spencer everywhere with me. He came with me to summer camp, to Capernwray, and to Cedarwood.
18) In need of an explanation from my last one, my all-time favourite movie is The Princess Bride. I first fell in love with it when my high school did a remake of it in a play when I was in grade 10 and it was awesome!
19) Everyone knows this about me already, but I have to include it. I really want to marry Adam Young. He's just so fantastic.
20) I am absolutely horrible with staying in touch with people. From high school, I only intentionally stayed in touch with 4 people (and by "in touch" I mean, I text them and/or see them at least once a month). (Keep in mind that this does not include the people that I go to church with. It was so easy to stay in touch with them because I automatically see them once a week.)
